In ancient times, the number of days off varied by dynasty. For instance, in the Han Dynasty, officials had about 60 days of vacation a year. In the Tang Dynasty, they had at least 100 days. The Song Dynasty offered even more days off. In the Ming Dynasty, the number of days off was much fewer.
